Robert Baker’s practice focuses on intellectual property litigation with an emphasis in the mobile telecommunications field. Prior to joining Reed & Scardino, Mr. Baker represented insurance companies in first-party lawsuits involving property and casualty claims, complex tort and professional liability litigation, and corporations in their business and employment disputes. He acted as state-wide coordinating counsel for over 6,500 lawsuits, providing strategic guidance, management of defense, electronic discovery, matter management and administration of client policies and directives. Mr. Baker has extensive experience defending corporate insureds in construction defect, personal injury/wrongful death, premises liability, and consumer fraud cases.
Education & Admissions
Mr. Baker received his B.A. degree from the University of Texas at Austin and his law degree from Southern Methodist University. He is a member of both the Texas Bar Association and the Austin Bar Association.
