Drew Zerdecki is an Associate with Reed & Scardino LLP. Drew leads the marketing and business development efforts for the firm’s IP section. His practice focuses on patent and commercial litigation, with clients primarily in the telecommunication and information technology industries.
Prior to joining Reed & Scardino in 2011, Mr. Zerdecki provided legal counsel to technology startups and was vice president of sales and marketing at 3R-Legal, an online platform for hiring freelance legal professionals. Prior to starting 3R-Legal, he managed and worked on litigation and legal research projects for firms such as Vinson & Elkins, Akin Gump, Reeves & Brightwell, and Bloomberg. Out of law school, Mr. Zerdecki served as legal analyst at FineTooth (now Mumboe), an early-stage contract management software company. There he managed the contract abstraction process and drafted various commercial agreements. Before law school, Mr. Zerdecki worked in information technology at Motive, an enterprise software company in Austin, now a part of Alcatel-Lucent.

A lifetime Longhorn, Mr. Zerdecki holds undergraduate degrees in Honors Business and Engineering Route to Business (2000), a law degree (2005), and a Master’s of Science and Technology Commercialization (2010) — all from The University of Texas at Austin. Mr. Zerdecki is licensed to practice law in Texas.
