Brian King maintains a varied trial practice that primarily concentrates on intellectual property litigation. He represents local, regional and national clients in state and federal courts involving patent infringement, copyright, and trademark disputes. Mr. King has special expertise in litigating patents covering software and internet technologies.
Mr. King also has experience in a wide range of commercial litigation disputes. Mr. King has defended fortune 500 corporations in complex multibillion dollar actions involving contract disputes, securities litigation, consumer and product liability actions, and employment lawsuits. This experience includes large multi-district and class action lawsuits.
Education & Admissions
Mr. King graduated with honors from The University of Texas School of Law. He has a Bachelor’s degree from The Johns Hopkins University. Prior to joining Reed & Scardino, Mr. King was an Associate with Winstead, PC in Austin, Texas and Baker Botts, LLP in Houston, Texas. Prior to attending law school, Mr. King worked in finance in New York City. Mr. King is a member of the Texas bar.
