Anthony focuses his practice primarily in the areas of intellectual property, natural resources, and general litigation. Anthony’s intellectual property practice is focused on patent prosecution and litigation, with an emphasis on the determination and valuation of damages in patent infringement suits. Anthony has represented clients in multi-patent cases covering technologies ranging from mobile telecommunications to oil and gas equipment.
Anthony also has extensive experience assisting clients in the exploration for and production of oil and gas throughout the State of Texas. His experience includes examining title to land; drafting drilling, leasehold, and division order title opinions; analysis of oil and gas leases and related agreements; and providing counsel related to pooling and production issues. Anthony has experience negotiating oil and gas leases, easement agreements and other contracts on behalf of mineral owners.
Education & Admissions
Anthony received his J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2007, and a B.S. in forensic science from Baylor University in 2004.
Anthony is admitted to practice in the State of Texas and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He is also admitted to practice before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Northern and Southern Districts of Texas.
